Healthy and Active Lifestyles and Energetic (HALE) Graduate Fellowship

The UAB Department of Health Behavior Seeks PhD Program Applicants for 
Health Education and Health Promotion Degree

Are you interested in:
• Becoming a leading researcher and practitioner in health promotion/education?
• Developing skills to plan, implement, and evaluate healthy lifestyle-related interventions?
• Advancing your theoretical knowledge from related social and behavioral sciences?
 

Coursework areas include:
• Advanced research and statistical methods
• Social and behavioral sciences
• Obesity, nutrition, and physical activity elective options
Health Promotion and Education degree offerings:
• Flexible course of study designed by the student in consultation with an academic advisor
• Research and grant writing opportunities
• Research experience and additional dissertation support

The fellowship is funded to support advanced studies and research in Healthy and Active Lifestyles and Energetics topics. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, tuition, and health insurance benefits.
